The long experience in the development and production makes our containers due to the used materials in shaping and handling to important and indispensable components of modern animal husbandry. As early as the 1960s we had been producing containers made of polycarbonate (PC), especially the best proven Makrolon no. 3108. Polycarbonate is transparent, impact-stable and autoclavable to 121°C. Specifications of the Container T2L are following:

    • Microisolators

      Microisolators

      The cage and filtertop system has been developed for two purposes:
      To protect animals during transport: By placing a filtertop on the animal cages during any kind of transport, the animals can be protected against contamination from the outside environment.
      To create a microisolator: The cage and filtertop unit can be regarded as a microisolator in which animals can be held temporarily. It is a simple short-time alternative to the complex barrier room system creating the barrier at cage level.

      We offer all basic sizes - type 2, 2L, 3, 3H

      Advantages:

      • No cross contamination from animals of different species in the same room
      • Cages can be moved safely from the LF bench to other areas (controlled or not controlled) because the isolation stays intact
      • Infection from personnel is no longer possible
      • Different species can be studied in the same room if necessary
      • Experimental infection with different microbes can be studied in the same room

    • Bottles and caps

      Watering caps

      Watering caps (for polycarbonate bottles without screw-thread) are made of stainless steel 1.4301. These types are available:

      - Watering caps with ball closure (for guinea pig and rabbits)

      Watering bottles

      The watering bottles are made of polycarbonate (=Makrolon, max. 121°C autoclavable) or made of polysulfone (max. 134° autoclavable). Available in a design with replaceable silicone seal, which guarantees maximum life of the bottle. And also with conical neck design.

    Shelf rack DEKO

    DEKO shelf rack is designed for universal application in facilities for breeding of small laboratory animals in related laboratories and other auxiliary spaces.

    An ambulatory treatment stand allows maximum utilization of breeding and auxiliary spaces. Simple design with the choice of materials used for DEKO shelf racks provide maximum simplicity, which allow easy maintenance, long service life and easy implementation of effective disinfection and washing using conventional means.

    Rack DEKO – shelf lenght 1190 mm, shelf width 500 mm, shelf load capacity cca 50 kg, and a rack hight 1600 mm.

    VEKO shelf rack series are designed for universal application in facilities for breeding and keeping small laboratory animals in related laboratories and other auxiliary spaces.

    Transport trolleys and mobile racks Zoonlab

    Take advantage of over 50 years experience of Zoonlab manufacturing of mobile racks for holding cages. Through the choice and processing of sectional tubes, in particular of the hair-pin brackets, dirt corners and unnecessary areas for dust deposits are avoided. Optionally, the cage brackets are available as U-profile of edged sheet.

    Equipped with 4 swivel castors Ø 100 mm, 2 of which have brakes, the racks can be placed at any desired position. The racks are made of high quality stainless steel AISI 304. The housing of swivel castors are made of stainless steel, the wheels are optionally available as a standard or as an autoclavable version.

    Rabbit cages AK 4700

    Cages for a modern approach to breeding and holding laboratory rabbits and guinea pigs.

    The special design of the cages and the stand allows easy replacement and cleaning of the side walls and the floor. At the same time, it is fully compliant with applicable legislation in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and meets the requirements of Directive 2010/63/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council for the holding of experimental animals.

    Rabbit cages AK 4200

    This innovative range of rabbit cages and racks accommodates to current legislation in Czech and Slovak Republic. Based on the proven AK series 3000, it was amended to meet the requirements of the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council 2010/63/EC, which tightens the requirements on the external environment of experimental animals.

    Rabbit cage AK 4200

    The cage is designed to hold one or two rabbits with a body weight of 5 kg, which can be used for breeding.

    Osmotic pumps

    ALZET® osmotic pumps are miniature infusion systems that deliver test agents at controlled rates into mice, rats and other laboratory animals. They offer specific advantages over repeated animal dosing by injection or oral gavage, such as:
